सबका अंतर्मन हो आलोकित ।

कितने किये दीप के उत्सव,

फिर भी हृदय कलुष आच्छादित।

कितने ज्ञानपुंज से गुजरे ,

फिर भी हृदय ज्ञान से वंचित ।

अब जागूँ नवज्योति जलाऊँ,

बनूँ ईशमय प्रेरित स्थित।1।

रखे सभी पर सहज दृष्टि पर

स्वयं अदृश्य,अगम्य,अबोधित।

सूर्य-चंद,तारे गण ज्योतित,

पर कौन करे उसको निश्तेजित।

उसमें ही सब स्थिर हों अब,

उसपर हों हम प्रतिपल आश्रृत।2।

जो वह उदित,विलुप्त राका-रवि,

नहीं कदापि दामिनी सज्जित ।

सभी प्रकाश गौण व नार्थक,

वास्तव ज्योति पुंजमय मनजित।

उसको क्या मैं दीप दिखाऊँ,

रहता जो प्रतिक्षण दीपांजित ।3।

जले ज्योति पर ध्यान रहे कि

हो वाह्यांतर  संपूर्ण प्रकाशित ।

हो विस्तृत ज्योति, निर्मूल निराकृत 

कलुष विघ्न है जो मन आच्छादित

पूरित चेतन हो पूरित आत्मा,

हो मन संतुष्ट हृदय आह्लादित।4।

सबका अंतर्मन हो आलोकित,

हो विवेक जागृत व प्रकाशित,

सबको प्राप्त अमरवैभव हो,

सब हों आत्मज्ञानपरिभूषित,

सब समृद्ध हों आत्मिक,भौतिक,

सब हों सफल और फलफूलित।5।

Many Deepavali festivals have come and gone. Yet the hearts of the vast majority are as dark as the night of the new moon. The house is lit with lamps, but the heart is full of the darkness of ignorance. O man! wake up from the slumber of ignorance. Realize the constant and eternal light of the Soul which neither rises nor sets by devoting to the supreme Brahmen. (1)

He who Himself sees all but whom no one beholds, who illuminates the intellect, the sun, the moon and the stars and the whole universe but whom they cannot illumine, He indeed is Brahman, He is the inner Self. Celebrate the real Deepavali by living in Him, and enjoy his eternal bliss.(2)

The sun does not shine there, nor do the moon and the stars, nor do lightning shine. All the lights of the world cannot be compared even to a ray of the inner light of the Self. Merge yourself in this light of lights and enjoy the supreme Deepavali.(3)

May the inner illumination in all be wide and broad, and

May this removes all the darkness and negativism that clouds the mind,

May all be with accomplished consciousness and spirit

May all live with contentment and heart full of joy and spirit.(4)

May all attain full inner illumination,
May supreme light of lights enlightens all's understanding,
May all attain inexhaustible spiritual wealth of self,
May all prosper gloriously on the material as well as spiritual plane. (5)
